Medieval Monstrosities / York illustrators meet-up / Drawvik
Join us for an evening of sketching our own Medieval style monstrosities using only a verbal description from a fellow illustrator.
Back in the Middle Ages, before search engines, wildlife parks, and Attenborough documentaries existed, illustrators had to paint pictures of animals they'd never seen before using written descriptions and sketches from explorers. They came up with some really weird looking creatures!
Join us for an evening of sketching our own Medieval style monstrosities using only a verbal description from a fellow illustrator. There's likely to be some hilarious, grotesque, and possibly terrifying results! We cannot be held responsible for any subsequent nightmares.
Don't forget to bring sketchbooks, paper, and your preferred drawing materials.
Free as always (but ticketed so we can plan numbers).
Come and create medieval characters in a cosy pub with your friendly fellow illustrators!
