Join us for an informative and engaging day at Balmakewan Farm with organic farmer, Phil Swire, with Dominic Amos of Cope Seeds &amp; Grain, Adam Forest from SAOS and Adrian James of AHDB, where we’ll take a closer look at what organic arable farming looks like in practice on a working farm.This is a great opportunity to find out more about key aspects of organic systems, including:<ul><li>crop yields and market opportunities</li><li>effective rotations</li><li>practical weed control strategies</li><li>the role of undersowing.</li></ul>You’ll gain real-world insights and have the chance to ask questions and discuss challenges and solutions with others working in the sector.Hot lunch included.FREE and open to farmers, crofters, growers and land managers.
