Full Joy x Sanctuary: Equinox Singing Party

About the Organiser:Alfie Jones is a choir leader, singer-songwriter and community space-holder based in London. He’s been singing in choirs since he was eight years old and is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe, welcome, and free to explore their voices—no matter their experience.Drawing on his background in folk music, choral singing and group facilitation, Alfie leads Sanctuary Singing Circles as warm, earthy, and inclusive spaces. These are not performance choirs—they’re about connection, harmony, and finding joy in shared sound. He also facilitates men’s circles and cacao/sound journey spaces as part of the wider Sanctuary project, helping people connect with themselves and others in honest, heartfelt ways.

Alfie Jones (Sanctuary)

Somewhere between a choir, a jam and collaborative gig. No performing, no prep, just turn up, let loose and have a blast!

Following the incredible response to our first Singing Party, we're delighted to be bringing this unique format back for another round!<blockquote>"Came into work and everyone asked if I had fallen in love" - Alex (attendee)</blockquote>______Full Joy and Sanctuary are joining forces once again for another unforgettable Singing Party - a unique participatory live music experience where everyone is part of the music.Imagine the feeling of belting out huge anthems, juicy harmonies and spontaneous moments of musical magic together with 100 other voices, all elevated by a ridiculously talented live house band.Led by Alfie Jones (Sanctuary Singing Circles) and George Montagu (Full Joy), this uplifting day blends collective singing, playful connection and joyful expression into one big-hearted musical celebration.______ Across the day we'll move through:✨ Playful vocal warm-ups and connection games ✨ Simple taught-by-ear songs and harmonies ✨ Huge collective singing moments ✨ Opportunities to freestyle ✨ Soulful live band energy ✨ Spacious moments to land and breathe______ Expect warmth, laughter, goosebumps, nervous beginners, experienced singers, moments of stillness, moments of release, and the rare feeling of being part of the band rather than simply watching a performance. No previous singing experience is required. This is not about getting it right. It’s about joining in.Singing for us is less about perfection and more about expression, connection and aliveness. It's something many of us have forgotten we're allowed to do. Together we'll create a space where every voice matters and everyone contributes to the sound.Whether you sing every day or haven't sung in years, you are warmly invited. All voices are welcome. <h4>What people said about our first Singing Party</h4>💛 "It was so lovely. I felt very open and joyful afterwards, thank you!" - Vimoksamati💛 "Such a beautiful way to celebrate Solstice. A warm, kind crowd of humans singing uplifting songs together is always such medicine for the soul." - Ellie We can't wait to party with you.
