Get ready for an enchanting night at Gwada, Balls Pond Road with Dave Holmes performing with some of london's top session musicians.

Playing as a trio of drums, keys, vocals/guitar, the band will perform a selection of Dave's original music from his 'Earth & Stone' Anthology.

This year being his 50th birthday year, he has selected the first 50 tunes for the anthology, from which he's chosen tracks to play you an ecletic set, moving through folk, soul, blues, with many Brazilian and Portuguese influences.

The Brazilian vibes are strong in Dave's songwriting - A samba percussionist and Bossa Nova guitarist, fluent in Brazilian portuguese with countless visits to Brazil and many friend and family connections there, his last release 'Just For Today' features a guitar solo by the legendary Roberto Menescal (one of the founders of Bossa Nova, Latin Grammy Life Time Award Winner and head of PolyGram Brasil during 70s/80s).

Excerpts from Dave's Anthology coffee table book will be available to check out, with annecdotes, behind the scenes photos and videos, listening stations and QR code links to other media from this project which spans decades of creative output.

The venue will be open from 6 until 10pm serving Ethiopian food and drink, with the concert from 7:30pm
