Into the blue space: cyanotype textile workshop

We’ll start with a short introduction to the project – an evolving and experimental textile journey exploring our relationship with freshwater.

Artist Mary Thomas will demonstrate how to work with cyanotype on fabric to create beautiful textile artworks. We will work on several collaborative pieces, and on individual pieces to take home or to contribute to the project.

This event is for people living in Conwy Valley, and is suitable for people aged 18+.
No prior experience is required.

Dysgwch grefft cyanoteip a chyfrannu at ein prosiect tecstilau Edau’r Afon.

Byddwn yn dechrau gyda chyflwyniad byr i’r prosiect – taith decstilau esblygol ac arbrofol yn archwilio ein perthynas â dŵr croyw.

Bydd yr artist Mary Thomas yn dangos sut i weithio gyda cyanoteip ar ddefnydd i greu gweithiau celf prydferth. Byddwn yn gweithio ar sawl darn ar y cyd, ac ar ddarnau unigol i fynd adref gyda chi neu i gyfrannu at y prosiect.

Mae’r digwyddiad hwn i bobl sy’n byw yng Nghwm Conwy ac mae’n addas ar gyfer pobl 18+ oed. Nid oes angen profiad blaenorol.
