The Sun powers life on Earth, but it's also one star among billions. This lecture asks what it teaches us about the search for life beyond.
This lecture considers what the Sun can teach us about its stellar brethren, from studies of its ever-changing surface to understanding its interior via astro-seismology, the study of star quakes. We’ll also see how a better understanding of our star is crucial in our search for life out there amongst the stars.
