Somatic (Conscious Connected) Breathwork at Soul Barns
A supportive 2-hour Somatic Breathwork session to slow down, reconnect with your body, and explore breathwork at your own pace.
Sometimes we don’t need more thinking. We need a different experience.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating change, curious about somatic healing, or longing to reconnect with yourself, this two-hour Somatic Breathwork session offers space to pause, slow down and listen.
So much of life asks us to keep going, meet expectations and hold everything together. But what if, for a little while, there was nothing to fix and nowhere to get to?
This session is a compassionate space to become curious about your body, your breath and what feels true for you — exactly as you are.
✨ What is Somatic Breathwork?
Somatic Breathwork combines Somatic (body-based) connection practices with Breathwork.
Conscious Connected Breathwork is an option that is offered for this session. It is a form of breathwork where the inhale and exhale are intentionally connected in a continuous, circular rhythm, without pauses.
This practice can help calm the nervous system, release held tension, and support a deeper sense of presence, connection, and inner awareness.
CCB is just an option, however, and not compulsory. You’re invited to choose what feels right for your body, with gentler adaptations or alternative breathwork available where needed.
✨ What to Expect
During our time together, you’ll experience:
- Grounding meditation
- Conscious Connected Breathwork, with adaptations if needed
- Somatic practices
- Rachel's attuned guidance throughout
- Rest, integration and optional sharing over herbal tea
With just 6–8 participants, this is an intentionally small group, allowing space for individual support in a welcoming environment.
No previous experience is needed. Everything is offered gently and at your own pace.
This session may be for you if you:
- Spend a lot of time caring for others and rarely pause for yourself
- Find it hard to switch off, even when you’re exhausted
- Feel disconnected from your body, emotions or sense of self
- Want to feel calmer, more grounded and more connected
- Are curious about healing through the body rather than only through talking
✨ What should I bring?
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket (s), pillow, eye-mask and whatever else you need to feel comfortable. Layers are advised as body temperature can shift during the session. A bottle of water for hydration. Comfortable, ideally loose fitting clothing is advised.
✨ About your Facilitator
Rachel is a trauma-informed Somatic, Breathwork, Sound and Reiki Practitioner. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we create the conditions for it — not when we force it.
✨ Booking options
Sliding scale: £35–£44
- £35 – If finances are currently stretched
- £40 – Middle/standard tier
- £44 – If you’re able to contribute a little more
Please choose the option that feels right for you.
✨ Is this session suitable for everyone?
Conscious Connected Breathwork may not be suitable in its standard form for everyone. If you are pregnant, have a cardiovascular condition, high blood pressure, epilepsy or seizures, glaucoma, severe asthma or another significant respiratory condition, osteoporosis, have had recent surgery, or are experiencing severe mental health conditions, please contact me before booking.
In many cases, gentle adaptations can be made so you can still participate safely.
✨Holding a Supportive Group Space
This is a shared group experience. Each person’s journey is unique and responses are varied. Some may feel deeply relaxed, while others may notice emotions, sensations, or memories arising. We invite you to be aware of this as you decide whether this session feels right for you.
By attending, you agree to participate in a respectful, supportive, and confidential space where all experiences are honoured.
If the idea of being in such a group setting doesn't feel supportive at this time, a 1:1 session may be more appropriate and I am very happy to discuss this with you.
✨ Please also be aware that this session is offered as a supportive wellbeing practice and is not intended to replace therapy, medical care, or mental health support.
