SEND Co-production Training: December 2026

Overview

Discover the power of co-production, hear lived experiences, and gain practical tools for working together and demonstrating impact.

Our co-production training is open to parent carers and all SEND practitioners across education, health and social care. Colleagues from the voluntary sector are also warmly welcome.

During the session you will:

  • Learn about co-production, its foundational principles, and how to embed it in everyday practice.
  • Explore the Birmingham SEND Co-production Framework & Charter and other key documents that support meaningful engagement with families
  • Hear real-life perspectives on co-production from young people and parent carers with lived experience.
  • Discover the SEND Co-production Award Scheme, a practical tool for capturing and evidencing the impact of co-production in your setting.

We look forward to welcoming you!
