# Brighton Beach Day | Meet New People | Optional Undercliff Stroll

### Fancy escaping to Brighton for the day this summer?

If you’ve been wanting to spend a day by the sea and would love to do it with a friendly group of people, we’d love for you to join us.
After such a lovely time at our first Culture Day, quite a few of us thought it would be fun to get together again before our next event - so we’re heading to Brighton!
Whether you came to our Japan event or you’re completely new to NuCircle, you’re very welcome.

### The Plan

We’ll travel to Brighton together before spending a relaxed day by the sea, enjoying good company, great conversations and (hopefully!) a little sunshine.
Our base will be close to the start of Brighton’s beautiful Undercliff Walk.
If you’d like to stretch your legs, you’re very welcome to head off for a stroll along the coast. The walk is completely optional and self-paced. Walk as far as you’d like, enjoy the stunning sea and cliff views, then simply turn back whenever you’re ready. If others from the group fancy the walk too, you’re welcome to walk together.
If walking isn’t your thing, that’s absolutely fine too. Stay on the beach, go for a swim, enjoy an ice cream, grab some lunch, read a book, paddle in the sea, or simply relax and enjoy the sunshine.
The idea is simply to enjoy a relaxed summer’s day together, meet new people and make the most of the British summer.

Meeting Details
Date: Saturday 8th August
Meeting Point: London Blackfriars Station, by the main departure board.
Meet: 9:45 am
Train departs: 10:09 am
We’ll all be booking open return tickets, so you’re free to head back to London whenever you’d like. Whether you’d prefer to leave with the group or stay in Brighton a little longer, the choice is completely yours.

Confirming Your Place
To help us organise the day smoothly, we’ll ask everyone to confirm their place a few days beforehand by booking their train ticket.
This simply lets us know who’s definitely joining us and helps us plan the day with confidence.
If your plans change, that’s absolutely fine. We’d just really appreciate you updating your RSVP as soon as possible so we know not to expect you.
