Course aims

To provide clinicians with knowledge and understanding of a minimally invasive approach to the assessment and aesthetic management of molar incisor hypomineralisation (MIH), fluorosis, and white spot lesions using whitening, Icon resin infiltration, and digital workflows.

Course objectives

By the end of this hands-on event, participants will have increased knowledge and understanding of:

· The clinical features and assessment of MIH, fluorosis and white spot lesions

· Evidence-based, minimally invasive treatment options and their indications

· The importance of pre-treatment whitening in supporting Icon resin infiltration outcomes

· The benefits of using 3D printed whitening trays over conventional analogue trays

· Participate in a hands-on practical for Icon Vestibular

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Demonstrate treatment planning options for white spot removal and reduction
2. Apply a minimally invasive approach to make improvements for patients who have white marks on their teeth
3. Identify appropriate pre-treatment whitening protocols to support aesthetic outcomes
