About the Evening

Phil Strongman will introduce the film and take part in a Q&A following the screening.

The documentary explores Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity (Maidan) and the remarkable cultural renaissance that followed, highlighting a new generation of artists, musicians, photographers and creative voices whose work continues to shape Ukraine today.

KYIV UNBROKEN is the first feature-length documentary to capture both the events of the 2014 Maidan Revolution and the extraordinary artistic movement that emerged in its wake.

All proceeds will support vital medical aid in Ukraine.

Special Tribute

This screening is dedicated to the memory of Nazgul Shukaeva, one of the musicians featured in KYIV UNBROKEN. Following her tragic passing in May 2026, we honour her remarkable commitment to Ukraine. Despite the war, Nazgul travelled to London on three occasions specifically to perform at fundraising concerts in support of UAID International's humanitarian mission, including a memorable performance at the legendary 100 Club. Beyond the stage, she tirelessly raised funds and personally delivered humanitarian aid to communities affected by the war. We are proud to celebrate her legacy during this special evening.
