Connorfest ft Rum Buffalo + John Fairhurst + Dj Fizzy Gillespie at MG

A HUGE NIGHT AT THE MAGIC GARDEN

RUM BUFFALO
JOHN FAIRHURST
DJ FIZZY GILLESPIE

Three serious forces collide for a night of wild live music, heavy grooves, world blues, horns, beats and a dancefloor built to go the distance.

RUM BUFFALO have been tearing through the UK underground with their gloriously unpredictable collision of raucous horns, fervent beats, psychedelic energy and theatrical chaos. Their debut album Blood Moon is bold, strange and explosive, complete with a haunting women-led chorus that sings, shouts and cackles its way through the record.

JOHN FAIRHURST brings his one-man World Blues Rock Explosion. A phenomenal slide guitarist with a deep growling voice, John draws on blues, rock, folk and music from around the world, turning a life spent on the road into raw, powerful songs. Acoustic Guitar Magazine USA hailed him as one of the world’s top resonator guitar players.

Keeping the floor moving is DJ FIZZY GILLESPIE, producer, remixer and full-time vibe engineer, jumping from soul to reggae, disco, Latin sounds and beyond, all threaded together with modern beats and bass. Also known for his work as a promoter and music curator for Boomtown and Shangri-La at Glastonbury, Fizzy knows exactly how to cook a dancefloor.

All this forms part of CONNORFEST, celebrating The Magic Garden’s founder Connor and his half-century on planet Earth, with a weekend bringing together some of the brilliant bands, DJs and characters who have been part of The Magic Garden family over the years.

Come for the bands. Stay for the party. Raise a glass to Connor.

ALL ARE WELCOME.
