Allan Gaw is the award winning author the Dr Jack Cuthbert, 1920s crime series. The series includes 'The Silent House of Sleep', 'The Moon's More Feeble Fire' and his latest and fifth title in the series 'The Last Gifts to the Dead'. Allan won the Bloody Scotland Debut novel in 2024 and was longlisted for the McIlvanney Prize in 2025.
