Make a fabulous paper lampshade under the guidance of collage artist Ros Freeborn of Papershades

At this workshop, everyone ​goes home with a beautiful and totally unique paper lampshade which will brighten up your home whether the lights are on or off.

Ros will provide a huge variety of paper for you to choose from to create your own collage design on one piece of A4 card. Using wallpaper, tissue, wrapping paper and card you can create floral fantasies, animal magic or abstract art for your lampshade. Once you're happy with your creation, Ros will scan your artwork and print it on the spot onto five panels of special paper. You'll then assemble your Papershade using two wheel-shaped supports. Then take home your Papershade to brighten up a table lamp or room light. Lampshades don’t have to be boring… they can be art!
