T-Shirt Upcycling at Muswell Hill Creatives Make & Mend Festival
Give an old T-shirt a new lease of life and explore creative upcycling techniques.
Upcycle a T-shirt under the guidance of Giovanna of The Fashion Blueprint.
Using upcycling and mending techniques, participants will learn how to personalise and reimagine textiles through patchwork, cutouts, appliqué and simple embroidery.
The workshop is beginner-friendly, requires no prior sewing experience.
All materials, tools, and facilitation will be provided. Participants leave with a piece they've customised themselves, along with practical skills they can take home.
The Fashion Blueprint is a social enterprise on a mission to combat textile waste. This workshop is part of our wider programming, engaging communities and institutions with sustainable in practical, accessible ways. Fashion Blueprint has delivered workshops for organisations such as Somerset House, Berkeley Group, Shelter charity shops and more.
