All Ticket Holders can watch this session on demand after the live talk for 30 days (Good to know if you can't make the live event)
Did you know your theatre production is eligiable for a creative tax credit - a cash rebate or a reduction in capital gains?
In January 2026 HMRC updated how creative producers can access and utilize creative tax relief credits, an often complex process, but one that can net you between 40-45% back on 80% of the qualifying production spend. (£450 back for every £1000 spent)
In this session Producer Mark Ashmore of Future Artists (Producer since 2009) will explore over the 1.5hr session how Future Artists uses creative tax relief credits as part of the funding mix for their creative output in the theatre industry, and how this de-risks and enables continuous research and development in creating new theatre works and adapting existing texts, whilst investing in new talent.
The session is aimed at both new producers and seasoned proffesionals and will offer valuable insights and practical tips that will help you navigate the complex world of tax credits and relief in the creative sector, using case studies at Future Artists across our portfolio of projects from the last decade - ultimately creating a cash back for creativity, by understanding a complex process.
Our aim is to make this simple, via a step by step guide
