Climate Ready D&G Workshop
Come along to find out more about climate change impacts in your community and to contribute your experiences.
The GSA Biosphere Partnership has been working with Climate Ready D&G on the development of a regional climate risk assessment. During the autumn we are taking a roadshow to 10 communities across D&G to discover people’s experiences of the impacts of climate change, opportunities and adaptations needed for future changing weather patterns.
We are also holding a workshop in each community with a speaker. At this workshop Ian Cornforth from Forestry Land Scotland will be talking about the Impacts of Climate change on the Galloway Forest Park. The workshop will also look at the adaptations to climate change in the Galloway Forest Park and what is being done and can be done in future to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
