Ecstatic Dance Bath with DJ Anahata followed by The Wellbeing Event

Ecstatic Dance Bath with DJ Anahata followed by The Wellbeing Event

Overview

DJ Anahata returns to Ecstatic Dance Bath for Sunday morning dance, followed by an afternoon of wellbeing treatments and sessions

We’re delighted to welcome DJ Anahata Grant back to Bath.

A resident DJ, manager and facilitator with Ecstatic Dance UK, Anahata has become a much-loved presence on the UK conscious dance scene, known for creating beautifully crafted journeys that move effortlessly across genres, cultures and moods.

The name Anahata means heart chakra ~ and there’s something distinctly heart-led about the way Grant approaches the dance floor. His sets can be spacious and soulful one moment, playful, tribal and gloriously energetic the next ~ always following the energy in the room and allowing the journey to unfold🌍🎶

After our morning dance, you’re invited to stay with us for an afternoon dedicated to mind, body, soul & spirit.

Hosted by Helen Pinkett + Ecstatic Dance Bath, the afternoon will bring together therapists and practitioners offering taster treatments and sessions, alongside talks, workshops, connection and nourishment.

Come for the dance, the Wellbeing Event ~ or make a whole day of it✨🌿

We look forward to dancing with you soon! 💛

With love,

The Ecstatic Dance Bath Team ✨

She specialises in Soul Plan energy activations and Soul Transformation Therapy and brings these beautiful modalities into her Qigong sessions to help clear, release, activate and transform energy from within.

What is Qigong?✨🙌✨

Qigong (also known as Chi Kung) is an ancient Chinese healing art like Tai Chi, involving:

-Mindful movement

-Gentle breathwork

-Meditation

All designed to improve physical, mental and emotional well-being.

✨🎶DJ Anahata🎶✨

Long before stepping behind the decks for Ecstatic Dance, DJ Anahata Grant spent years immersed in music studios, working alongside artists including George Michael, Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran and Tricky. That depth of musical experience now meets his own transformative journey through dance and embodiment, bringing both musical instinct and genuine presence to the space he holds.

In Anahata’s own words: “I love DJ’ing and playing in conscious communities where moving is a practice through dance… all dancing in different ways to the same rhythms. Bringing people from all corners to dance together!! Feel very blessed to have found this!! Such a joy to witness people in their practice, whether it be highs or lows ~ it’s all welcome…. Hope to see you on the dance floor!! 🙏🎶😊"

BLACK CAT CACAO AND JIMMY'S KITCHEN | 12:30-13:30pm

Black Cat Cacao and Jimmy’s Kitchen are rooted in a love of nourishment, ritual and the stories carried within the foods we share.Their founder, Jimmy, has spent 25 years living and working in East Africa, where hospitality, generosity and the importance of gathering around food became woven into everyday life.Jimmy has recently made trips to Ecuador to deepen his relationship with and understanding of the benefits of cacao, this has included time learning from those working closely with Mama Cacao including the traditions which honour her as a plant medicine.Whether through a cup of ceremonial cacao or a bowl of delicious filling whole foods, the invitation is simple…. to slow down, reconnect and receive nourishment, mind, body, spirit, soul.

The Savoury Nourishment Bowl is designed to ground and replenish after movement, bringing together protein-rich quinoa with a gently spiced seasonal dhal. It is finished with rainbow kimchi and Jimmychiri – a vibrant herb dressing inspired by chimichurri and enriched with seasonal wild garlic, combining parsley, coriander, garlic, lemon, chilli and olive oil into a fresh, zesty accompaniment which lifts the entire dish. Fermented vegetables provide a tangy contrast, creating a bowl that is both deeply nourishing and full of flavour.

The Sweet Bowl offers a softer landing - cool plant based yoghurt layered with tahini, hemp hearts and delicate cacao flakes, finished with strawberry coulis and optional honey. It is simple, nourishing comfort food – balancing protein, healthy fats and a touch of sweetness to support recovery and integration after dance.

Jimmy’s Keto Crackers are another delicious and nutritious treat, well worth trying if you haven’t already! Handmade and utterly irresistible… even Abi of the Ecstatic Dance Bath, can’t keep away. Catch them before she does! 😉

Together, whether Savoury and/or Keto Crackers and/or Sweet they celebrate nourishment not simply as fuel, but as pleasure, ritual and connection.
