River Colne Volunteer Day- Riverfly Survey

Join Groundwork East for the River Colne Volunteer Day!
On Saturday 12th September, we will be hosting a series of volunteer activities for you to get involved in. Whether you are a seasoned volunteer or new, this is a great opportunity to help protect the River Colne, a rare chalkstream habitat.
Riverfly Survey, 3.30pm-4.30pm
This will be our final activity of the volunteer day.
We will be delivering a demonstration of how to identify river fly species, how the ARMI Riverfly survey method works, and what results mean for water quality.
The Riverfly Partnership
We will be running ARMI Riverfly training later in the year - so this is your chance to see if it's for you!
