Small Steps, Better Health: Breast Health & Wellbeing
A FREE community event with creative activities, refreshments and breast health information.
Join us at Shantona Women's Centre for the first of our Small Steps, Better Health community events.
This is a FREE, friendly and informal event where you can learn more about looking after your health while enjoying creative activities, workshops and refreshments.
The event will have a particular focus on breast health and breast cancer awareness, including knowing what's normal for you, recognising changes and the importance of getting things checked early.
Breast cancer won't be the only focus though. There will also be information and support around wider cancer awareness, screening and early diagnosis.
There'll be plenty to see and do, including:
- Free creative activities and workshops
- Health and wellbeing information
- Stalls from local organisations
- Cancer awareness and screening information
- Free refreshments
- Opportunities to chat, ask questions and find out about local support
You don't need any previous knowledge and there's no pressure to take part in everything. You're welcome to come along, have a look around and get involved in whatever interests you.
Everyone is welcome and the event is completely FREE to attend.
Come along, get creative and take a small step towards better health.
