Evening bat walk

As the sun sets over Rusthall Common some of Britain's most amazing animals emerge and take to the skies. But how much do you know about these incredible and mysterious creatures?

We'll start the evening in the Lodge with refreshments and a short illustrated talk all about our bats. We'll learn all about their lives, their unbelievable echolocation and the different species found in Kent.

Then, as dusk falls, we'll head off onto Rusthall Common armed with special bat detectors that will allow us to tune into the bat's nocturnal, world allowing us to hear them as they hunt overhead.

Suitable for all ages.

Bat activity can be affected by poor weather so we will postpone the event if the weather isn't suitable. We'll let you know 24hrs beforehand, so please keep an eye on your emails.

Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.

It will be quite dark by the time we finish, so please bring a torch.

Dogs are not permitted at this event.

Meeting point is the Lodge at St Paul's Church, just off the A264 Langton Road. At the end of the Church drive, turn right and the Lodge is infront of you (What3Words: survived.showrooms.budgeted)
