<h3>Wildflowers of the Pavement: A Community Weed Walk</h3>Monday 1 September, 2:00pm to 3:30pm 📍 Meet outside Midsomer Norton LibraryJoin us for a relaxed community walk celebrating the wildflowers growing in the cracks, walls and pavements of Midsomer Norton. Together we'll discover the plants often dismissed as "weeds", learn about the important role they play for pollinators and other wildlife, and share fascinating stories about the nature hiding in plain sight.As we walk, we'll use chalk to label some of the wildflowers we find, helping others notice and appreciate these resilient plants. From dandelions and plantains to mallows and willowherbs, these overlooked species provide valuable food and shelter for insects, especially during dry weather when other sources can be scarce.🌼 Discover the wildflowers growing on our streets 🐝 Learn how they support pollinators and urban wildlife 🖍️ Help chalk-label plants along the route 🌱 Celebrate the surprising beauty of nature on our doorstepCome along and see Midsomer Norton from a new perspective as we celebrate the wildflowers beneath our feet.
