Welcome Churches' vision is for every refugee to be welcomed by the local church.We believe that, no matter where your church is based, there is something you can do to welcome refugees.Through our Welcome Learning, Welcome Training and Welcome Network, local churches are practically equipped to play their part in helping refugees find a place to call home. Welcome Churches

Join us for an hour of prayer every other month as we pray for refugees, people seeking asylum, churches and communities across the UK.

As the UK government continues to negotiate with France to try to stop asylum seekers crossing the Channel, many seeking sanctuary are becoming increasingly vulnerable to exploitation and danger.Join us on Monday 28 September, 8-9pm (Zoom) for our Refugee Prayer Hour. We will gather to pray together for people making these dangerous journeys, for an end to people smuggling and exploitation, and for wisdom and compassion among those responding to the changing situation. We will also pray for safe and legal routes to the UK, so that people fleeing war, persecution and danger do not have to risk their lives in the English Channel in order to seek safety.

About the Refugee Prayer HourWe’ll spend time together seeking God, listening to Him and praying for His work among people who have been forced to flee their homes, as well as for the churches and volunteers who welcome them.Refugee Prayer Hour dates:<ul><li>Monday 28 September 2026, 8-9pm</li><li>Monday 30 November 2026, 8-9pm</li><li>Monday 25 January 2027, 8-9pm</li><li>Monday 29 March 2027, 8-9pm</li><li>Monday 24 May 2027, 8-9pm</li><li>Monday 26 July 2027, 8-9pm</li></ul>Each meeting lasts one hour, from 8-9pm.Please register for each date you would like to attend.
