Exceptional ADHD: Strengths, Stories and Possibility
Interactive webinar for neurodivergent professionals and allies: Exceptional ADHD: Strengths, Stories and Possibility.
Strengths-based practice is not about pretending barriers do not exist. This session uses evidence and lived experience to explore how ability, interest, identity and environment interact.
This live, interactive webinar is for neurodivergent professionals and anyone who wants a deeper, more useful understanding of neuroinclusion. Divergent Thinking combines accessible explanations of relevant research with neurodivergent lived experience and practical workplace insight. We separate established evidence from assumptions, avoid one-size-fits-all claims and keep the focus on dignity, choice and what helps in real life.
Expect anonymous polls, short games, realistic scenarios and optional reflection activities. You can contribute by voice, chat or polls, or simply listen. There is no cold-calling and cameras are optional. You will leave with a more balanced strengths-based lens and practical ways to create the conditions for people to contribute. Whether you come for self-understanding, better professional practice or both, the emphasis is on translating insight into respectful action—not fixing people, rewarding conformity or claiming that one strategy works for everyone.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPLORE
• How strengths can be specific, contextual and sometimes uneven
• Why stereotypes about talent can create pressure or hide support needs
• How interest, motivation, identity and environment interact
• Ways to support agency and contribution without romanticising neurodivergence
