Will you be able to look after my bag and coat?

We plan to have an ERC team member remain at the meeting point to stay with runners’ small bags and coats. This is a courtesy and not a secure cloakroom for valuables. Any items left are entirely at your own risk.

Question 2

Is this a run or a race?

Accepted Answer

This is definitely a chat-friendly run and not a race. Your running leader will try to maintain a moderate pace (around 6:30" - 7.00 minutes per km or slightly faster), so suitable for most runners and allowing people to talk along the route.

Question 3

Is the run marshalled?

Accepted Answer

This run will not be marshalled. It is a fun run and not an official site 5k marshalled event. That said, we are safety-conscious. We will have a running leader and a trailing runner to ensure all participants stay together along the 5km route.

What is the Electronics Run Club?

Accepted Answer

The main goal of this new initiative is to build a fully inclusive community for electronics industry professionals. It will help members keep fit and have some fun while attending key events, with a few dedicated ERC events also planned for the future.

Is there an opportunity to socialise afterwards?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. There will be a chance to join the organisers and fellow runners in a nearby bar/pub to celebrate your achievement.
