Morning Session
You’ll be introduced to the screen printing process and our East London studio before moving through the key stages of printmaking. This includes preparing and developing your artwork, learning how to coat and expose a screen, and understanding the materials, inks and equipment used. You’ll also see a live printing demonstration on the print beds to help you get a feel for the full process. Then you'll have an hour for lunch to discover the Dalston food hotspots!

Afternoon Session
In the afternoon, you’ll focus on bringing your design to life by selecting your print colours and preparing your screen for printing. You’ll then print your own edition by hand, experimenting with technique as you work. Throughout the session, you’ll also refine your approach with guidance on troubleshooting and improving your print results.
What You'll Leave With
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own hand-printed edition of original artwork, including 8 finished prints to take home. You’ll also have a solid understanding of the screen printing process, practical skills you can continue to develop independently, and the confidence to work with professional screen printing equipment.
