For the last three years they have run Spark:Ed a 1-day festival of ideas, that brings the education community together with entrepreneurs and young people to find ways of innovating to create local opportunities in Brighton & Hove.http://www.longrun.works/

Walk through a Virtual Reality Minecraft version of Brighton and use it to tell us how and where you get creative and where you would like to get more out of life in Brighton.
 There’s a reason we’re doing this. Cities of Learning is an idea that has been popular with young people in the USA, so we’re running this event to see if something similar could offer young people more opportunities in Brighton & Hove. 
 
The idea behind Cities of Learning is to give young people digital ‘badges’ for the skills they learn outside of the classroom. These badges can be shared on social media including LinkedIn, where they can be seen by potential employers. Each badge contains all the evidence of what was done to earn it.
