What do you think of when you hear the word "blog"? Does it send you into hiding? Do you think "maybe I should, but I don't know how"? Or you're just not sure how it will benefit your private practice marketing.
I'm offering this course because I know the value of blogging and what it's done for me. It's revolutionised my practice! I want my colleagues to learn what I've learned, earlier on in their private practice journey.
I've organised this course as a step-by-step guide, where at the end you'll get a template for your blog posts, which will save you time and energy. I'll take you through practical steps and procedures to help you write a successful blog post without getting overwhelmed. I'll also help you plan your blog writing, working around your schedule, time limits and creativity times.
As a practitioner myself, I have "insiders" knowledge as to what it's like to be in private practice and struggle with starting out or starting something new, like blog writing. I am passionate about helping others have successful private practices, and my way of doing htis is by putting my passion for content creation into a variety of formats, including workshops like this one, one-to-ones, and more.
I am confident that this course (and a few other courses coming up in a sequence) will help propel practitioners into filling their private practice, with confidence and showcasing their knowledge and experience.

Do I need to come to the workshop with anything?
You'll get the orientation with one of the team, so that will help with the techy side of things. We will have that covered for you, so not to worry. Bring yourself! Everything else will be covered as we go along!
I have started a bit of blogging is this workshop for me?
Definitely! I'm a firm believer in that there's always room to learn more tips and tricks, and I'm sure that you'll get a lot out of this workshop. I'll be giving away a template to help you plan your writing and publishing, which will make it so much easier moving forward, especially in those busier times. The interaction with the colleagues will be superb and offer you some more food for thought and further ideas and networking opportunities to share your blogs and support one another.
I am not sure if blogging is for me, will this workshop help?
Yes! I will talk about the mindset around blogging and help you think about the best way to move forward with getting yourself out there. That's what it's all about in the end. Letting clients know you're there, without getting stressed or overworked. Let's keep things easy and straightforward!
I've never been good at writing, how will this help?
Ah! I'm sure I can help you organise your blog posts so you can focus your ideas even better and work on your writing skills. There are other ways I can support you with this outside the workshop, but learning the skills I'll be teaching will be a good grounding for anything else that you might do around blogging.

ONLINE WORKSHOP PROGRAMME
We are acutely aware that for many colleagues in the helping professions travel is extremely difficult due to time, money and health constraints. We are developing this programme so that the workshops offered by experienced trainers from all over the world can also be accessed by you from the comfort of your own home
This workshop will be hosted in the Zoom meeting platform which has all the resources we need to create an experiential group learning environment. The workshops will have access to an online group room, breakout rooms for small groups, whiteboards for creating and sharing resources and the capacity to communicate with voice and text.
How Do I Join the Workshop?
One week before the date of the workshop you will receive an email which will include a clickable link to join the workshop. About 10 minutes before the workshop is about to begin please goto this email and click on the link. This will open the Zoom meeting on your computer or mobile device.
When you register for the workshop you will receive an email with an invitation to meet a colleague from the onlinevents team in Zoom who will help you orientate to the Zoom environment. Because the workshop will require the use of the camera and microphone on your computer or mobile device we want to help you feel confident using your technology.
Please note that we are requiring that all workshop participants meet with a colleague from the onlinevents team before participating in the onlinevents workshop programme so that the workshop can begin and run smoothly. Any colleagues who do not respond to the invitation for the pre-workshop meeting will not be able to join the workshop. This pre-workshop meeting will prepare you to attend this workshop and any other onlinevents workshop that you choose to register for. You wont need to attend one meeting per workshop.
