2 Week Support Block - Autism and Teenagers
Overview
For parents/carers living in Bristol, North Somerset, South Glos and BaNES
A free online course on teenagers, puberty and autism, running for 2 weeks on Mondays, 9.30am-2.30pm with an hour lunch break, starting Monday 17th November.
This course will cover:
- What is autism
- The significance of the teenage years
- Health and hygiene
- Relationships and sexuality
- Anxiety, masking and mental health
- Self-esteem
When
The group will meet on Monday Mornings from 9.30am-11.30am with an hour break and restarting at 12.30pm-2.30 pm on:
- Monday 17th November 9.30am-11.30am and 12.30pm-2.30pm
- Monday 24th November 9.30am-11.30am and 12.30pm-2.30pm
Attendees are expected to attend all 3 sessions.

Facilitators
Amy Phipps
The course will be run by Amy Phipps, an autism and neurodiversity trainer and consultant. Amy has worked with autistic adults and children for over 25 years and has two autistic children herself.
