In the heart of Soho, join the Surface Design Show and the Green Grads for a hands-on workshop to create a woven artwork from textile waste.
Led by experienced Green Grad Claire Malley, you will learn how to design and weave your own artwork from varied textile waste, including denim offcuts, and recycled yarns, taking away your own unique piece. You will explore craft, colour and texture and see how sustainable materials can be used to bring art into interior spaces. This workshop follows on from our super successful workshop stage that we launched at SDS26, it is suitable for beginners upwards, encouraging makers to unwind, and enjoy the mindful flow of weaving. Drop in and out any time.
