2026 River Clean - 40 Acres, Stoke Gifford
Join Bristol Avon Rivers Trust and the Parish Council for a session of river litter picking in Stoke Gifford.
We're looking for volunteers to help us clean up Stoke Brook that runs through the 40 Acres nature reserve to keep it, and its surroundings, healthy. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to make a difference. Everyone is welcome.
Please do wear/bring weather appropriate clothing and a drink. Sturdy footwear essential, ideally waterproof. Bring gardening gloves if you have them, but we will have extra gloves available in some sizes. All litter picking kit will be provided by BART including litter pickers, bin bags, rings and extra gloves. We will have some waders for a few adults but not everyone will be entering the brook. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
