<h3>Step into the darkness and experience Dickens’ Christmas classic as you’ve never seen it before…</h3><p>Join Ebenezer Scrooge on his unforgettable Christmas Eve journey as he is visited by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come.</p><p>Performed in a darkened theatre using <strong><strong>UV light, glowing scenery, striking costumes, music and special effects</strong></strong>, this unique production brings the world of <em><em>A Christmas Carol</em></em> to life in a magical and atmospheric new way.</p>

<h2>THE STORY / EXPERIENCE</h2><p>Follow Scrooge from his cold and lonely counting house, through memories of Christmases long forgotten, into the warmth of the Cratchit family home — and finally towards a future he desperately hopes can still be changed.</p><p>With a running time of approximately <strong><strong>40 minutes</strong></strong>, the production has been created as an accessible Christmas experience for families and audiences of all ages.</p><p>Expect something a little different from your traditional Christmas show — <strong><strong>a glowing, ghostly and ultimately heart-warming journey through one of the greatest Christmas stories ever told.</strong></strong></p><h2>AGE GUIDANCE</h2><h3>A note for families</h3><p>All ages are welcome, but we <strong><strong>recommend the production for children aged 6+</strong></strong>.</p><p>The auditorium will be very dark during the performance and the story includes ghosts, spooky imagery and atmospheric effects. Parents and carers know their children best, so please bear this in mind when booking for younger children.</p><h3>Parking</h3><p>Free parking is available in the car park <strong><strong>to the north of The Hub, just off Croxton Road, opposite the Academy</strong></strong>.</p><p>Please allow a little extra time to park and make your way to the venue before the performance begins.</p><h2>IMPORTANT — ARRIVING ON TIME</h2><h3>Please arrive on time</h3><p>Because <em><em>Ebenezer Scrooge</em></em> is performed using UV lighting in a very dark auditorium, <strong><strong>the doors will close when the performance begins</strong></strong>.</p><p>For the safety of our performers and to preserve the UV effect, <strong><strong>we will be unable to admit latecomers once the show has started</strong></strong>.</p><p>If you need to leave the auditorium during the performance, unfortunately <strong><strong>you will not be able to re-enter until the show has finished</strong></strong>.</p><p>We therefore recommend using the toilets before taking your seats.</p><h2>WEAR DARK CLOTHES</h2><h3>Wear something dark!</h3><p>Want to help us create the magic?</p><p>We encourage audience members to <strong><strong>wear dark or black clothing where possible</strong></strong>.
