Cacao Ritual on a Canal Boat (Samhain special)

A pre-Samhain Cacao Ceremony on a privately hired Narrow Boat on one of London's Canals! Total sailing time is 2 hours.

Once our boat sets sail, there will be about half an hour to settle down, This slow sailing in the evening allows you to observe the moving scenery, listen to the rhythmic flowing river connect with element of water as the narrow boat glides through.

Then the actual Cacao Ceremony is conducted. (See details below).

Solo time - After the ceremony, you will again have free time to sit on the deck, allow the Cacao to genty work within your heart-space, as you enjoy the night sail back for remaining boat-time.

• Spaces limited to 9 people. So book immediately to avoid missing out. Due to the hired nature of this venue, no refunds given.
• Canal Safety: The hired narrow-boat will be sailing for 2 hours and return to same place of departure. Once started, you can not get off the boat.
• This is a deeply personal magical event. (not a party event). Only Cacao will be served. You may bring soft drinks & snack for a shared picnic after ritual. Stricty NO Alcohol or Substances permitted any time.

--- 1. MAGICAL DETAILS ---

• We are using Ceremonial grade Cacao, organic & vegan-friendly- grown by the Ashaninka Tribe in Peru.
• ceremony: There will be energy clearing with sage smudging. We call 4 Archangels to watch over us. We then raise energy with chants. Ceremonial grade Cacao is served (vegan milk heated in the kitchen area of the boat, and brought oin deck for adding cacao powder.). Each person sets their own magical and drinks their cup of Cacao; Ancestors and parted spirits are named and honoured by each person; . You may then sit quietly with your magical thoughts, observe the night sailing and scenery .. and allow the Cacao to work within you.

Cacao drinking in Tribes is old magical practice that works gently in heart-centre and energy openings in people. There are no quick-fix results; It takes time to work. It's effects are subtle, and can include a good feeling of wellness, connection, love, gratitude, mindfullness, positivity.

So starting with groundedness, stillness, and balance is importrant in order to feel the effects of the Cacao.

We began Cacao circles in Hampstead Heath, in June 2021, with Freya Witch leading them . A new cycle began with our Earth Hour Cacao ritual in Queens Woods, Highgate, March 2025.

----2. PRACTICAL DETAILS ------

Meeting point / Time/ Setting sail:

• 6.30pm - 6.50pm: Meet outside The Pirate Castle, Oval Road, Camden. Please be on time. If you are not onboard when the boat leaves, you miss the event.
• 6.50pm. We will be let in to the building, then to basemt level that has the boarding platform to the Narrow Boat (Black Pearl). It will set sail, skippered by a professional Captain who will be in charge of the boat for the whole duration.

Toilet: The Narrow boat has a small Toilet.

Kitchen: There is a small kitchen space inside the covered area of the narrow boat...

Deck ; There are seats on the deck of the narrow boat. Our ceremony will take place on the deck (seated).

After ceremony : You may stay on the deck and relax and watch the river / bank and scenary.

What to bring?

• Ritual items (optional): crowns Ritual cloaks, capes, masks; flowers for altar;
• Sound / noise: Note. This is a quiet journey. Canal goes through some residential areas. So NO loud music. No drums. But rattles, bells, wind chimes and singing bowl will be played.
• Warm clothing & rain-coats/ outdoor shoes or boots (and ankle covered socks! ).
• Your own Cups/chalice to drink from. (we provide cups for drinking cacao).

Food & Drinks for Social Please bring food & drinks to share (optional)...

Tidying up: Please take any rubbish out to bins on pavements.

• NO Drugs at our events any time
• No alcohol at this event
• No children allowed.
• Health- This is an outdoor ceremony - on a moving narrow-boat, specially hired for this event. If you have any anxiety or medical conditions, please DO NOT book for this event,
• Cacao - please consult your GP / Doctor if Cacao drinking is okay for your specific health conditions.
