Hoopla: The Staffroom, Music Box and more!
Improvised comedy every Thursday, Friday & Saturday night at Hoopla featuring top Improv groups on the circuit!!
We are the UK's premier pan-Asian improv group, and we're on a mission to bring laughs from the diasporASIA to the UK comedy scene. We do a playful mix of short and long form improv and host a monthly night of Asian comedy in London.
Susan Harrison (from Showstoppers) and Andrew Gentilli (from Music Box) conjure humorous improvised stories from this world, and others.
The Staffroom
Let’s take a trip down memory lane… Do you remember your favourite teacher at school?Favourite lesson? The teacher you wanted to avoid at all costs?
The Staffroom takes a look behind the curtain to see what teachers get up to when the students aren’t around…
Music Box
The Improvised Comedy Musical.
★★★★★ - Fringe Guru. ★★★★★ - Remote Goat.
Music Box makes up a different one-act comedy musical every show based on the suggestions of a 'title' and a 'location' from the audience. Songs and lyrics are plucked from thin air. Stories and characters are created on the spot. Past musicals have taken place inside a Wetherspoons, the Orient Express, The Depths of Hell, a World War II bunker and on board the Death Star.
