Understanding and Supporting Neurodivergent Children and Young People

Understanding and Supporting Neurodivergent Children and Young People

Overview

Join our FREE introductory session exploring autism and ADHD with ideas about how to include neurodivergent young people in your activities

On Wednesday 24th September, join our trainers to increase your understanding of Autism, ADHD and wider Neurodevelopmental conditions and gain ideas about how to include neurodivergent young people in your activities.

This is an interactive session co-delivered by Neurodivergent Trainers who have extensive experience in autism support and research and are also Parent Carers to neurodivergent young people.

Aimed at children's activity providers, this course will:

  • Provide an up to date, evidence based understanding of autism and ADHD as neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Include contextual and practical ideas and guidance on how to make your activities more inclusive of neurodivergent children
  • If time, we will take questions about specific areas you might want to talk through.
  • The course builds on theoretical and practical knowledge gained through our two day 'Inclusion Needs You' course but can be attended as a standalone session.

If you can't make this date you can sign up to our training newsletter to get the earliest priority booking for future training sessions here.
