Sound Journey - Buxton St John's

Join Christina for an immersive sound journey designed to guide you inwards, creating space to slow down, reconnect and explore a deeper sense of balance and stillness.

Through intentional sound, breath and stillness, you’ll be invited away from the noise of everyday life and into a more spacious, meditative state.

Sound has been used across cultures for thousands of years as a tool for ritual, meditation and healing. The frequencies and vibrations created during a sound journey can encourage deep relaxation, quieten the thinking mind and support a shift into a more meditative state.

Christina creates progressive, layered soundscapes using gongs, singing bowls, voice, percussion and other instruments, alongside gentle breathwork. The journey builds and evolves before gradually returning you to stillness, offering space for rest, reflection and conscious exploration.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, blankets and water. You’ll be lying down for the majority of the session, so bring anything else you need to feel warm and comfortable.

The session is held in the beautiful St John’s Church in Buxton. Please arrive 10 minutes early to find your space and get comfortable. There is limited parking at the church, but plenty of on street parking across the road and around the Opera House.
