A Canalside Flora - Exhibition opening and poetry reading

Overview

Join us for the opening of our open air exhibition in North Acton Square featuring live poetry readings and cyanotype printmaking.

Over the past year The Canal & River Trust have been holding plant walks and print making workshops along the canalside in west London with the public and community groups as part of a program called A Canalside Flora. Through these workshops we have built up a collection of prints and poetry that catalogue canalside plants and explore people’s relationship with this environment.

We will be displaying this work as an open air exhibition in North Acton Square From 26- 31 October.

To launch this exhibition we are having a live poetry reading in the square followed by the opportunity to make your own cyanotype print of a canalside plant that you can take home with you.
