Say It Better: Neurodiversity Language That Builds Belonging
Build confidence in neuroinclusive language at work. Practical wording, listening and repair for managers, HR and colleagues.
Build confidence in the language you use with neurodivergent colleagues.
In this one-hour interactive webinar, explore practical wording, respectful conversations and ways to respond when you are unsure. Designed for managers, HR and People teams, and colleagues who want to put neuroinclusion into everyday practice. Neurodivergent professionals, educators and allies are welcome; no diagnosis or prior specialist knowledge is needed.
Three practical takeaways
- Understand person-first, identity-first and individual language preferences.
- Recognise wording that can stigmatise, minimise or reinforce stereotypes.
- Practise asking, listening and repairing when preferences differ or you get something wrong.
