Making circularity work in the Built Environment

Making circularity work in the Built Environment

Overview

Join built environment leaders and practitioners for an informal evening exploring how to move circularity from ambition to action

As part of Circular Economy Week 2026, join built environment leaders and practitioners for an informal, hands-on evening exploring how to move circularity from ambition to practical action across buildings, fit-outs, materials and operations.

We’re excited to announce our keynote speaker: Joe Jack Williams, Head of Regenerative Strategy at Bywater. As well as coordinating Bywater’s core response to the climate crisis and approach to ESG, Joe has been a key part of many pioneering sustainability initiatives, including LETI, UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard and Architects Declare, as well as working closely with industry organisations including CIBSE, RIBA and RICS. He recently co-edited the RIBA book, Materials: An Environmental Primer, reconnecting people with the common materials found in construction.

After the keynote, you'll work with peers on real-world circular challenges, swap solutions and ideas, and make connections that could lead to collaboration on reuse, procurement, data and materials.
