Artificial Intelligence: good news or bad news for graduate job prospects?
What does the AI revolution mean for your graduate career?
AI is changing the world of work, but what does that actually mean for graduates entering the job market?
Join Dr Mike Baxter for an accessible and thought-provoking talk exploring the facts behind the AI revolution and what it could mean for your future career.
Graduate entry-level jobs have fallen in recent years, although it remains unclear how much of this change can be attributed to AI. At the same time, AI is increasing the value of many graduates once they are in the workplace.
Mike will explore both sides of the debate, looking at:
- What the latest evidence tells us about AI and graduate employment
- How AI could affect entry-level and graduate jobs
- Why your value as a graduate may actually increase through using AI
- What employers are likely to look for in the age of AI
- Practical advice for navigating the graduate job market
Whether you're currently studying, graduating soon, or thinking about your next career move, this session will give you a clearer picture of how AI may shape your career prospects and how you can prepare for it.
