Arts & Craft and Movement Workshop for Children - As the Leaves Turn
A creative children’s workshop combining autumn-inspired arts and crafts with movement and imaginative play.
Celebrate the colours and movement of autumn in this creative workshop for children, inspired by the journey of a falling leaf.
During the first part of the session, children will create their own autumn leaves using coloured tissue paper. Each leaf will then be added to a large collaborative tree, gradually transforming it into a shared seasonal artwork.
The second part of the workshop explores the journey of a leaf as it falls from the tree to the ground. Through movement and imaginative play, children will interpret the different stages of this journey and bring the changing season to life.
Combining visual art, creativity and movement, the workshop offers a playful way for children to explore the themes of As the Leaves Turn.
Ticket-holders should enter County Hall via the main entrance on Belvedere Road, where they will be met by festival representatives.
