COM groups are online communities that encourage and promote harmful and extreme behaviours. Reports of COM group offending have increased significantly, with police forces across the country now managing a growing number of investigations. It is therefore essential that practitioners understand the nature of this offending, recognise the signs of potential involvement, and know how to respond appropriately to safeguard children and young people.
This session will help professionals build their knowledge and confidence in identifying concerns at an early stage, enabling timely intervention and reducing the risk of significant harm.
