Taff Rocks Tuesday

Our regular Rocks Painting will always be here, plus: taster sessions of other opportunities we offer full sessions on, to see if you like them and, from September, we will be trailing the new air dry and polymer clay.

Freestyle Workshop – You Choose!
This is a freestyle workshop, so you can choose ONE of the following activities using a variety of available media and resources:

Rock painting

Polymer clay

Air-drying clay – you’ll need to return to next month’s workshop to paint your creation.

Something else - we occassionally add a random creative activity

Bring your own craft – use our resources to complete or continue a project you’ve already started.

A reference library is available for inspiration, with plenty of ideas to help get your creativity flowing. Our staff are also on hand throughout the workshop to offer guidance, encouragement and support with your creations. One activity is included in your workshop fee.Finished early and fancy having another go? No problem! You can choose an additional activity, but extra resources will be charged separately.

We actively encourage anyone who would normally choose a ‘non-participant’ reservation to get involved! Our intergenerational activities are a wonderful opportunity to create connections, share experiences and strengthen bonds with family and friends — while having fun and getting creative together. Please read on for essential information.

Keep Your Receipts!
Don’t throw your receipt away! Selected workshop receipts can double as a voucher for up to 25% off at the Friends of Taff Rocks pop-up shop.Prepaid online? If this workshop qualifies, simply ask a member of staff for an alternative receipt to use as your voucher.Ask a member of staff for more information and find out if your receipt qualifies!

Payment Links
Once your reservation has been confirmed, you’ll receive a payment link by email. To help make sure it reaches you, please add events@taffrocks.org.uk to your email address book or safe senders list, so it doesn’t end up in your spam or junk folder. We use this payment method to keep platform fees as low as possible and, importantly, we absorb these costs rather than passing them on to you. This means you pay the advertised workshop price, without additional payment processing fees being added.

Reservation Payments & Cancellations
To help prevent seat blocking (1) and ensure spaces remain available for those who genuinely wish to attend, upfront payment is required to secure your reservation.Once you receive your payment link, please make payment within 5 days. If the workshop is imminent, payment will be required prior to the workshop to secure your place.Reservations that remain unpaid after the specified deadline will be automatically cancelled and the space released for someone else to book.Need to cancel? Refunds may be available on request, subject to our cancellation terms. All cancellations must be:

Made via Eventbrite

Made by the person who originally made the reservation

No later than 48 hours before the event.

(1) Taff Rocks simply cannot sustain seat blocking. As a small charity, every place matters, and unused spaces not only prevent others from taking part but can also have a significant financial impact on our limited resources.
