llustrators North – InDepth with Peter Strain // Belfast meet-up

Belfast’s illustrator meet-up Illustrators North hosts a relaxed, live conversation on stage with award-winning illustrator Peter Strain.

Peter’s work is instantly recognisable - hand-rendered, highly detailed and often packed with ideas. From portraits and expressive typography to animation and editorial illustration, he has a knack for taking complex stories, subjects and cultural moments and distilling them into striking, memorable images. His work moves between social and political commentary, pop culture, mental health and everything in between.

We’ll chat with Peter about his work, his career as an illustrator, and the thinking behind his distinctive approach.

Following the talk, there will be time for questions, and to mingle and connect.

Join us for an inspiring evening at our final InDepth talk of the year upstairs at The American Bar (Belfast BT15 1LF) on Wednesday 11 November at 7pm.
