Drawing at Tumbledown with Caro Lester: Session 1

For both beginners and those with an existing creative practice, these sessions with artist Caro Lester will enable participants to explore and document Tumbledown’s beautiful and diverse site.

This is the first of 3 sessions that can be booked together as the foundation for a body of work, simply to build a sketchbook habit, or as individual standalone sessions for visual warm-up exercises and wellbeing.

SESSION 1

studio activity: prep and make an 8-page zine
outside: 8 short timed drawings across the site using various media

Places are limited to 8 to ensure a small and supportive group, with the aim to enjoy creative focus together.

The sessions are being held under the umbrella of The Big Draw 2026 which aims to promote process over product, with experimentation and discovery, plus collective mark-making and connection.
