2017 VPHi General Assembly

The VPHi isan international non-profit organisation incorporated in Belgium, whose mission is to ensure that the Virtual Physiological Human is fully realised, universally adopted, and effectively used both in research and clinic.

VPH Institute

The VPHi General Assembly is the official meeting of the VPHi membership. It is held formally every year, with a major open-door event hosted every other year in association with the VPH bi-annual conference, the next one being on 5-7 September 2018 in Zaragoza (Spain): <A HREF="http://vph-conference.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://vph-conference.org/</A>
As the governing body of the Institute, the General Assembly meets to take care of the official duties of the Institute as laid down in the statute. To fulfil this obligation, this year the General Assembly will be held in connection with the Board of Directors meeting on September 28th in Leuven (Belgiu). The BoD will take place from 10.00 to 16.00 and will be followed by a session dedicated to the General Assembly from 16.00 to 17.30.
The draft agenda for the General Assembly is as follows:
- Presentation and rafitication of the new members of the Board of Trustees (elected via electronic ballot)
- Ratification of the new general members and supporting members approved by the Board of Directors;
- Approval of the financial reports and budgets
- Overview of the 2017 activities and plans for 2018
