2018 School Games 'Performance Parent' Sessions

The 2018 School Games National Finals, supported by National Lottery funding from Sport England is delivered by the Youth Sport Trust which isa national charity passionate about creating a brighter future for all children and young people through the power of sport.

Through the Parent Education Programme, the School Games aims to support parents to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to best support their child to achieve their future sporting potential.
This ‘Performance Parent’ Workshop is aimed specifically at parents of talented young athletes. 
There is no magic formula on how best to support and nurture your child and their talent, but this workshop gives ideas and suggestions that may help and reassure you as parents of talented young people that they are on the right track. 
Containing guidance and suggestions from experts in elite sport and extensive research in sport parenting, support services and most importantly, first-hand advice from parents of talented young athletes it is a workshop not to be missed whilst you are at the event.
