2019 Supporters' Summit

Supporters Direct has been working since 2000 to help supporters gain influence in the running and ownership of their club. In the last fifteen years we have helped our members to establish 192 trusts in the UK and we have worked with supporters to purchase and develop more than 40 community owned clubs. We have supported these members in raising more than £50 million to be reinvested back into their clubs and communities including £6 million through community shares projects; an area where we are market leaders.In 2017, Supporters Direct Scotland incorporated locally as a democratic Community Benefit Society, founded on cooperative principles.

Supporters Direct Scotland

The 2019 Supporters Summit will be held at Oriam, Scotland's National Sports Performance Centre, on Saturday the 22nd of June from 1pm to 5pm. Tickets are now available free of charge.
The theme of this year's summit will be Scottish fan culture, looking at what makes Scottish football distinctive – celebrating the good things, and also exploring some areas where our game receives unwelcome attention. The programme is still being finalised, but we hope to have sessions covering issues such as the recent policing review, supporter misconduct, the role of alcohol consumption in football cultures, responsible gambling, and the changes to the league structure / pyramid.
Space at Oriam is strictly limited, and tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please do not apply for a ticket unless you definitely plan to attend!
