Values help define what people find important and meaningful in life. This workshop will support you to understand and identify your values.

As part of the 2021 Goal Setting Programme we are delivering a 1 hour 30 minute workshop where you will explore why understanding values is important for defining life goals, maintaining progress and building resilience. This session will provide you with practical exercises and tools to identify your values and how you can use them. Who is it for?The workshop is for anyone who is interested in personal development and increasing self-awareness. In particular we aim to help those who might be seeking support and clarity.For example, are you:<ul><li>Looking to start your own business or side hustle alongside your regular job? </li></ul><ul><li>Studying to improve your future career prospects? </li></ul><ul><li>Freelancing or self employed hoping to manage new projects this year? </li></ul><ul><li>Looking to initiate a change but unsure of next steps?</li></ul>Whatever you are looking to achieve, understanding your values will help with decision making and guiding helpful behaviours. How will it help me?By identifying what you value you can determine what is important and meaningful in life. Values are great for guiding the definition and prioritisation of short or long-term goals and actions. They provide an anchor when you hit challenges, frustrations or setbacks, reminding you of why you chose that path. When linked to behaviour, values can allow for personal and professional change to take place. Collectively, this process can be invaluable when contemplating and undertaking any change/goal setting.What can I expect?A welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. Guided by our coaching team, you will discuss and examine your values using practical and interactive exercises. There will be interaction via the Zoom chat channel, general discussion and break out room activities (where suitable). How much does it cost?The cost of the workshop is £36.How will I access this event? The event will take place on Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to your email address the day before the event. Contact us at info@nutcrackercollective.com in case of issues.Our Team:Louise Spurgeon MSc is a Coaching Psychologist specialising in wellbeing and change with an MSc in Neuroscience and Psychology. She is the co-founder of Nutcracker Collective which exists to integrate mental and physical wellbeing into our personal and professional lives. She has undertaken significant change, after spending 20 years’ in investment banking she decided to pursue a new career bringing her love of psychology and neuroscience together. Louise will lead this workshop.Sabrina Ahmed MSc is a wellbeing coach, trainer and Mental Health First Aider (MHFA), with an MSc in Neuroscience and Psychology. She is the co-founder of Nutcracker Collective. She has 20+ years&#x27; experience across private and public organisations delivering change. Sabrina also has personal experience of living with and managing chronic pain conditions, and is passionate about helping people identify the skills and resources they need to achieve their ambitions regardless of any underlying challenges. Danielle Tucker PhD is a writing coach and writing retreat facilitator. She has a Certificate in Coaching from the Centre for Coaching and currently runs her own co-writing group at the University of Essex providing support to staff and doctoral students on setting writing goals and project management. Danielle is a Senior Lecturer in Management at Essex Business School where she teaches advanced academic study skills and change management.
