OPEN COACHING

Open Coaching is a regular coaching session for archers who are affiliated to the Hertfordshire Archery Association, either through their club, or as an Archery GB direct member. All archers and coaches must be members of AGB. It is not suitable for those who have not done an archery course before - please look for an archery beginners' course.

Archers must register in advance to help us ensure adequate numbers of coaches. Tickets can be booked up until 5 minutes before the event starts.

You MUST cancel your ticket if you can't make it, so that others can book. If you don't cancel we will charge you the coaching fee.

Unless you have already block booked YOU CANNOT HOLD MORE THAN ONE BOOKING AT A TIME. Multiple bookings will be cancelled.

Loreto College, entrance in Upper Lattimore Rd. St Albans AL1 3RQ

Dates and Times

Term 1: Fridays: 3, 17, 31 October; 14, 28 November; 12 December 2025

Term 2: Fridays: 9, 23 January; 6, 20 February; 6, 20 March 2026

7:30pm to 10:00pm (includes 15 minutes set up and take down). Archers will normally be expected to assist with set up and take down.

Loreto's electronic gates should be open 7.15-8.15pm. You can drive out at any time.

Do I need to book?

Yes. Places are limited to 18 places per session. 7 Bosses with archers shooting in 2 details.

What if I haven’t booked?

If you decide to come at last minute, tickets can be booked up to 5 minutes before the session starts.

What if a session is fully booked?

Do check back. If someone cancels their ticket the place immediately becomes available to book again.

Coaching Charges

Fees for coaching are payable in advance on the day (preferably by Bank Transfer) and charges are:

Adults £10 per session

Children £6 per session

Non-shooting responsible adults are not charged.

Charge applies whether you stay for 5 minutes or the entire session.

U18s Attending:

In order to comply with best practice in child safeguarding, all minors (those under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Adults will be expected to stay on-site during the entire session. Only 1 responsible adult per child will be admitted
